Why do I need a patch test ???
A patch test is required prior to some treatments to check for intolerances to the ingredients in our products. Treatments that will need a patch test include all tinting, perming, bleaching, and falsh lash application.
Although very rare sometimes people can have allergic reactions of varying degrees to the ingredients in the products.
We understand that this can sometimes be an inconvenience but can assure you that they are carried out for your benefit and safety. Thankyou
Some of our treatments require varying degrees of aftercare so that you can obtain optimum results post treatment.
These aftercare instructions should be followed after each treatment and any adverse reactions you believe to be a result of your treatment should be discussed with us at your earliest convenience.

Waxing
No hot baths/showers or heat treatments i.e saunas should be used for 24 hours post treatmwent.
No deoderant or other products such as make-up should be applied to waxed areas for 24 hours post treatment.
Do not touch the affected area as transmission of bacteria can occur causing infection.
Exfoilate the area twice weekly to avoid ingrowing hairs.
Return for next treatment in around 4 weeks.
Electrolysis
No hot baths/showers or heat treatments i.e saunas should be used for 24 hrs post treatment.
No deoderant or other products such as make-up should be applied for 24 hrs post treatment.
Do not touch the affected area as transmission of bacteria can occur causing infection.
Exfoliate the area twice weekly.
Return for further treatment as discussed during your treatment plan.
Do not pluck, wax, or tweeze hairs between treatments, bleaching or shaving is fine.
Manicure and Pedicure
Apply moisturisers regularly.
Wear gloves when dealing with household chemicals or doing housework.
Apply a clear topcoat to prolong the life of your nailvarnish.
Apply cuticle oil to the area around your nail to provide nourishment.
Tinting
Use eye make-up remover to remove mascara.
Return in 4 weeks for repeat treatment/
Facials
Cleanse tone and moisturise morning and night.
Avoid products that contain soap as these can dry out your skin.
Drink plenty of water.
Exfoliate and mask once weekly.
Perform self massage once weekly.
Do not touch the area or apply make-up for 24 hrs post treatment.
Return for treatment once monthly or as discussed within your treatment plan.
Massage
Relax after treatment.
Do not eat heavy meals post treatment.
Drink plenty of water.
Do any exercises as discussed with the therapist.
Avoid stressfull situations.
Return for treatment as discussd in your treatment plan.
try to maintain good postural habits.
False lash application
Avoid hot and humid conditions.
Do not pull the lashes out - return to the salon for them to be removed.
Keep any lashes that fall out - these can be re-applied free of charge within 48 hrs of treatment.
Do not apply mascara for around 1 hour after application.
